Furniture retailer taps DispatchTrack integration tech to drive seamless customer experience

Simple Home Plus, a family-owned furniture retailer, is deploying DispatchTrack's integration technology to boost customer experience from point of sale to delivery.

The company had previously implemented Storis and DispatchTrack solutions to help eliminate manual processes and reduce customer confusion, according to a press release. Storis offers a unified commerce solution integrating POS, inventory, accounting and business intelligence. DispatchTrack provides last mile delivery solutions via a scalable, AI-driven SaaS platform.

"We were dealing with confusion, delays, and a high volume of 'where is my order' calls," Michael Ochs, Simple Home Plus CEO, said in the release. "I wanted a solution that would reduce errors, improve reliability, and simplify the customer experience from sale to delivery."

The DispatchTrack integration provides several capabilities:

  • Automated delivery scheduling allows customers to receive a message with a link to choose their preferred delivery time directly through the Storis calendar when an order is placed.
  • Real-time customer updates.
  • Unified communication management enables team members to view all customer conversations in one place, regardless of which system sent the message.

"The integration between DispatchTrack and Storis helps us deliver the same experience for every customer," Ochs said in the release. "It keeps everything connected and makes life easier for our team and our customers."

The full integration has been live for one month and Simple Home Plus is already seeing improvements beyond customer service. The company has had a marked decrease in customer calls and texts asking about delivery status and has optimized employee productivity by reducing the manual work of coordination calls and status checks.

Simple Home Plus is exploring other advanced DispatchTrack capabilities, including DT Agent, the virtual delivery assistant, and voice-guided updates for drivers from Driver AI.
