Gary R. Kohl tapped to lead SGK Brand Solutions

Gary R. Kohl is the new president of SGK Brand Solutions after serving as executive vice president/global business development for the company, according to a press release from Matthews International Corporation.

He will continue to report to David A. Schawk, who is taking a new role within the office of the president at Matthews. Schawk's title of group president, SGK, reflects his continuing strategic oversight of the SGK group where he will focus on acquisition opportunities and strategic planning, according to the release.

"With continued disruption in the industry and marketplace, SGK has developed a bold growth strategy designed to extend current client relationships while building new business, remaining focused on growing our clients' top line while concurrently driving out costs. I believe these executive moves position us extremely well to reshape the business to capture the opportunities ahead," Joseph C. Bartolacci, president and CEO of Matthews International, said in the press release.
