Global Bay, Epicor partner on mobile retail software suite

Epicor Software Corporation, a provider of business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, and Global Bay Mobile Technologies, a provider of next-generation mobile retail software, have partnered to provide retailers running heritage Epicor software solutions with a comprehensive suite of mobile retail applications.

Supporting the rich in-store mobile experience for employees and customers that is in demand today, Global Bay's GBmobile retail applications support retailers running heritage Epicor applications for mobile point of sale (mPOS), mobile inventory management and CRM modules.

According to a company release, the suite of in-store mobile applications allows retailers to leverage their current Epicor technology investment to deliver improved information and offer an inspiring customer experience. Global Bay's mobile applications support mobile devices running Apple iOS and Windows Mobile, and other "untethered" mobile computing platforms such as kiosks, to extend their investment in the Epicor Retail technology stack.
