Google buys, shuts down e-commerce rating service

June 4, 2012

Google has officially acquired KikScore, a U.S.-based company that gives scores to e-commerce businesses based on their service. Google will not be keeping the service, however, according to theregister.com.uk. It will shut down the service June 28.

The patent-pending online reputation company, which has more than 1,700 small business customers, will more than likely be integrated into the Google Trusted Store product within the Google Checkout/Google Wallet department, according to the story.
