Impulsify, Shiji Group team up to expand retail POS deployments

Impulsify Inc., a provider of retail software, has finalized a partnership with Shiji Group, a provider of software solutions and services for the hospitality, foodservice, retail and entertainment industries, to reduce payment management system interface installation costs, improve deployment processes and expand into global markets, according to a press release.

Shiji Professional Services will provide interface installation services for Impulsify's ShopPoP, a guest-facing smart kiosk that lets guests skip the line when purchasing grab-and-go food and beverage items, in addition to a variety of services to Impulsify's core product, ImpulsePoint, a patented, cloud-based lobby retail POS and inventory management system. 

With four international hotel brands adding Impulsify software solutions to lobby retail outlets in 2019, Impulsify sought Shiji's payment management system and global payments expertise to assist in the global deployment.

"2019 has been a period of hyper growth for our brand," Janine Williams, CEO and founder of Impulsify, said in the release. "We are currently deploying to over 800 hotels and want to provide them with a superior product and a positive ROI — without slowing their deployment schedule. Shiji's commitment to client success, coupled with the breadth of their global resource infrastructure, allows us to accomplish all of these objectives and more."
