Jeweler launches insurance app

Baribault Jewelers is providing customers with instant insurance coverage via an app.
The Connecticut-based jewelry retailers has launched the Lux Digital Vault mobile app from Jewelers Mutual Group.
"Using technology to bring everyone closer and enjoy their jewelry collections inside their phone is exactly what our next-gen clients are looking for," Christina Baribault Ortiz, Baribault Jewelers, in a press release. "It is beyond cool to have a customer open their virtual vault inside our store, giving them peace of mind that they are secured and insured at the moment of purchase if they so choose, and if not, they have an innovative organized way to keep track of their jewelry digitally."
App users communicate directly with their jeweler, upload images of their jewelry collection, store-related receipts, appraisals and other important documents.
