Jewelry.com relaunches with broader scope

February 17, 2009

National Jeweler: Jewelry.com has relaunched to feature an expanded retailer directory that covers multichannel national and regional fine-jewelry stores in addition to the site's eight founding partners.

While the Web site itself does not sell jewelry, Jewelry.com features an extensive inventory of around 30,000 items aggregated from founding retail partners Fred Meyer Jewelers, Gordon's Jewelers, J.C. Penney, Kay Jewelers, Littman Jewelers, Macy's, Sears and Zales. Jewelry.com allows consumers to search, browse and compare items side by side, and then directs the final sale to the retailer's site.

Jewelry.com touts its search engine as one of the most user-friendly jewelry searches in the world, enabling consumers to find exactly what they are looking for according to their personal requirements. Among the parameters that can be used for searching are: price, store, style, stone, metal, shape, item and collection.
