Tourists visiting Regina, Saskatchewan can now access travel tips and discover hidden gems more easily with the launch of two visitor kiosks, according to a 980 CJME report.
A partnership between Tourism Regina, Tourism Saskatchewan and the Regina Airport Authority, the kiosks are located at the airport's arrivals area and city hall's ground floor.
The kiosks offer information on upcoming events, attractions and activities, allowing visitors to personalize their itineraries. Staffed by tourism ambassadors during peak hours, the kiosks provide a human touch alongside interactive digital displays.
This initiative aims to make Regina a more welcoming destination and support the city's growing tourism sector. The kiosks are expected to be operational year-round, with summer hours at the airport kiosk running Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"We want people to know how much is going on in Regina," Jennifer Johnson, with Tourism Regina, told the news outlet. "On any given day or weekend, there's actually tons of events and ... we often hear questions about 'What is there to do in Regina?' We are here to answer that question for everyone and we're very excited to do that."
