Artificial intelligence is playing a critical role in boosting revenue growth and improving margins at Levi Strauss & Co.
Playing a big role within the AI strategy is a huge data repository, according to a Wall Street Journal report. The data includes shopper provided information as well as external data, from consumer buying behavior to weather forecasts.
The data, according to Katia Walsh, the retailer's chief strategy and AI officer, is playing a critical role in helping Levi Strauss & Co. boost personalization, predict demand and make smart pricing decisions.
"AI is playing a significant role," Walsh told the WSJ.
"AI and tech initiatives have enabled us to transform our business.…It is a priority for the company as we unlock value for all our stakeholders," Levi's finance chief Harmit Singh told the news outlet.
