L'Occitane debuts experiential concept store

Natural cosmetics maker and retailer L'Occitane has opened an Provence concept store on Fifth Avenue in New York City.

The 1,870-square-foot store offers an unique immersive destination that will communicate the brand's signature pillars through a range of interactive customer touchpoints, according to a press release It was designed by L'Occitane's Daniel Contorni, international artistic director, and Paul Blackburn, VP concept design, construction and merchandising.

The store will attract new customers, encourage engagement and produce user-generated content for social media, according to the release. It features a "rain-shower" sink and an interactive skincare consultation area.
