When the Pinch Spice Market in Louisville, Kentucky installed a vending machine to offer packets of seasonings and herbs as a way to serve customers during the coronavirus pandemic, they never expected the amount of business the machine would deliver, according to an Associated Press report.
Co-owner Meaghan Thomas said the machine attracted a lot of walk-by traffic and made a new audience aware of the company. As a result, the company has decided to make the machine permanent.
The machine also allowed the staff to fill online orders instead of having to deal with walk-ins.
The company is also considering placing machines at other locations.
