Lowe's hires on Target leader for digital strategy

Seemantini Godbole will be the new CIO at Lowe's come Nov. 12.

Godbole is currently senior vicepresident, digital and marketing technology at Target, according to a press release.

Lowe's President and CEO Marvin Ellison called Godbole a "tremendous addition to the Lowe's executive leadership team," in the release.

Prior to Target, Godbole worked at travel reservations provider Sabre Holdings and online agency Travelocity for 15 years.
