Macy’s opening small-store format locations

Macy's plans to launch small-store format locations in Las Vegas, Boston, San Diego and Indiana.

The locations will be 30,000 square feet to 50,000 square feet, according to an AP report.

The retailer officially opened one of the four locations this month, in Highland, Indiana.

The four small format stores will be called Macy's as well as Market by Macy's — a brand that operates more than 500 stores.
