Michaels hiring 10K-plus seasonal workers for holiday season

Michaels plans to hire more than 10,000 seasonal positions for this year's holiday shopping season.

In 2024, the crafts retailers converted more than 50% of that year's seasonal in-store position into regular roles after the holiday, according to a press release.

Michaels held a nationwide hiring event in mid September.

"At Michaels, creativity is at the heart of everything we do, and it starts with our team members," Nicholas Bertram, president and chief operating officer at Michaels, said in the release. "We are thrilled to welcome new team members to Michaels this holiday season to fuel the joy of creating and celebrating in every community we serve."
