Mobile staffing platform raises $32M

November 26, 2018

Mobile temp staffing firm Wonolo has raised $32 million in Series C financing led by Bain Capital Ventures, bringing the total funds raised by the firm to $60 million.

The latest funding round, according to a company spokesperson, included new investor Dag Ventures, plus support from existing investors including Sequoia Capital, Base10, AMN Healthcare and Cendana. In April, the company raised $13 million in a Series B round led by Sequoia Capital.

The San Francisco-based firm helps companies fill on-demand hourly jobs. Its app connects a company and the worker for the entire onboarding process and workers are paid quickly via the app in days, rather than a weekly or bi-weekly pay period, the spokesperson said.
