There are two newly created leadership roles at Myer.
The department store retailer has named Daniel Bracken, who serves as deputy CEO and managing director of merchandising and marketing, as its first chief merchandising and customer officer. He will continue to handle his deputy duties, according to a CMO report.
"In this new role, Daniel will take on additional responsibility for all aspects of the new Myer customer experience and for ensuring the customer perspective is at the forefront of all of our decision making and execution," said CEO Richard Umbers, according to CMO.
Michael Scott is taking on the new role of executive general manager of brand and marketing as of June 1.
