Neiman Marcus launches Foursquare challenge

Neiman Marcus has announced the launch of the "Blahnik Book Foursquare Hunt" in conjunction with its Spring 2012 Neiman Marcus Shoe & Handbag Event. The event runs from March 29 - April 1 in all Neiman Marcus stores and on NeimanMarcus.com.

Customers will receive a $50 Neiman Marcus Gift Card with a regular price purchase of $350 or more in Ladies Shoes or Designer Handbags.

The Shoe & Handbag event unfolds in a series of visual images within the Neiman Marcus Shoe & Handbag Book. Actress Paula Patton was selected as the subject for the Shoe & Handbag story because of her passion for fashion, and approach to fabulous design. The actress is depicted with the Spring season's hottest shoe and handbag styles.

Coinciding with the Shoe & Handbag Event, Neiman Marcus stores will be hosting a one-day Foursquare challenge that will be active during store hours Saturday, March 31. The Foursquare challenge winner from each store will receive a Manolo Blahnik coffee table book featuring sketches from the famed shoe designer.

To participate in the "Blahnik Book Foursquare Hunt," users:

• Download the Foursquare app at the Android Market or the Apple App Store onto a Smartphone.
• Upon arrival at a Neiman Marcus store, participants should check in to the location with the Foursquare app. They will be prompted with instructions to search for a placard in the store and bring it to Customer Service.
• The player who first locates the placard in each store will receive a Manolo Blahnik coffee table book.
