Visitors to the One World Trade Center in New York City are smelling something different in the air — One World — the observatory's own unique scent, pumped in via air ventilation systems as part of the tourist experience.
But as the New York Times reports, not every visitor is enjoying the fragrance.
One visiting history professor from across the pond described it as "sickly."
That's very likely not what observatory leaders were looking given the goal was a fragrance formulation recreating the smell of trees and citrus, according to the Times.
