New York's Hudson Yards retail, restaurant hub open for business

March 20, 2019

Hudson Yards, a new retail and restaurant hub in Manhattan, New York, is open for business.

The fine dining and luxury shopping development, cited as America's largest private development as it features more than 100 stores and eateries, opened this past Friday.

The development is home to Neiman Marcus' first-ever New York City location, according to CNBC.

"I've worked with a lot of retailers in the city, but never in a space of this size and scope," Mary McGreevy, vice president and general manager of Neiman Marcus, told CNBC."It's so different. There aren't many walls. The dressing rooms are so generous. The aisles are wide. You don't feel you are in Manhattan when you are in the store."

Shoppers can also shop H&M, Zara, Fendi, Kenzo and Tory Burch as well as Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman and high-end luxury jewelers.
