Nikki Baird to head up retail innovation at Aptos

Aptos has tapped Nikki Baird to serve as vice president of retail innovation.

Baird, who was most recently a managing partner at Retail Systems Research and is a well-known industry analyst, will report to Aptos marketing chief Nicole Crowe, according to a press release.

"You cannot succeed in retail today without a strategic view of technology," said Baird in the release. "Aptos has taken a strong position in supporting retailers' strategic needs and connecting them to technology enablers, between investing in retail transformation capabilities, the agility platform to make that transformation a reality and the innovation research to keep retailers ahead of the game."
