Nokia India launches marketing campaign for new smartphone

December 8, 2011

In honor of its new smartphone, Lumia, Nokia India is giving more than 5,000 of its retail stores a new look.

The new elements in the store will include a strong visual experience with 3-D and 2-D in-store branding, white furniture, and a specialist field sales force, according to the Hindu Business Line. Lumia consumers will also receive no queuing, free home delivery and expert guidance.

The company is also rolling out a marketing campaign – The Amazing Everyday – for consumers across Bangalore. The amazing experiences include impromptu flash cricket at selected public places offering a chance to play cricket with Indian and international cricketers and the Lumia Taxi. The Lumia Taxi will be seen on the streets of Bangalore and Chennai, offering passengers the choice of opting for an out-of-the-ordinary experience, the story said.

Consumers can choose between a 30-minute helicopter flight over the city; parasailing or a romantic dinner for two and a private party.
