The National Retail Federation will announce its launch of an unprecedented year-long advocacy campaign to underscore the economic significance of the retail industry and to advance an agenda for jobs, innovation and consumer value on behalf of America's retailers. This expansive campaign will include lobbying, grassroots mobilization, social media advertising, earned media, an international push and more. At its core is a new action center designed to encourage support for the retail community's jobs agenda and containing data from a new economic study which highlights the central role retail plays in the U.S. economy on a national, state and local level.
