While the newly-opened Hudson Yards retail and business development has garnered much media coverage since opening this year, it's not the only New York City retail neighborhood finding success.
The surrounding retail establishments, along West 34th Street, are primed for a renaissance as well, according to a New York Post report.
The street is home to Macy's as well as a prime tourist attraction, the Empire State Building, and now boasts Amazon as warehouse tenant, noted the report. A Target store is doing well, and other retailers likely getting a boost from the Hudson Yards' consumer traffic include Foot Locker and Sephora.
