Office Depot launches co-working hubs to Chicago, Dallas locations

Office Depot has opened two Workonomy Hub co-work spaces in its Lake Zurich, Illinois and Irving, Texas locations.

The business services and supplier opened its first shared workspace in its Los Gatos, California store last summer, according to a press release.

The hubs provide small business owners and entrepreneurs with tools and services for work needs including private office areas and services relating to shipping, marketing, tech support and printing.

"Co-working spaces are a natural extension of our retail stores and are the latest example of our company's transformation from a traditional office products retailer to a broader business services and solutions provider," said Kevin Moffitt, executive vice president, chief retail officer for Office Depot, in the release.

"Office Depot remains dedicated to providing small- to medium-sized business customers with the products and services they need to run and grow their businesses from affordable private and shared workspaces to office and technology supplies to on-site IT support."
