Oracle buying up Maxymiser to drive mobile experience forward

Oracle is acquiring cloud-based software maker Maxymiser in its quest to optimize web and mobile customer experience.

Oracle is acquiring cloud-based software maker Maxymiser in its quest to optimize web and mobile customer experience.

Maxymiser’s technology lets markets test, target and personalize the web site visit or app, which it said drive engagement and revenue. Currently its technology is optimizing more than 20 billion customer experiences per month for brands such as Allianz, HSBC, Lufthansa, Tommy Hilfiger and Wyndham.

"Although the vast majority of marketing leaders agree customer experience is central to their brand’s long-term differentiation, they struggle to systematically use customer data and data science to discover and deliver the experiences customers want online. Without a data driven approach, marketers are left with lower conversion rates, poor customer engagement, and lost revenue and ROI," states an announcement on the deal.

The addition of Maxymiser to Oracle Marketing Cloud will strengthen the most comprehensive solution to manage marketing programs across all digital channels and across the customer lifecycle, stated Oracle.

The Maxymiser team is expected to join Oracle and become part of Oracle Marketing Cloud.
