Ralph Lauren may launch in-store shirt dye experience

Come 2022, Ralph Lauren shoppers may be able to have their polo shirt choice dyed the color of their choice right in the store.

The feature could be available in New York locations, according to Jim Fitterling, CEO of Dow, the retailer's color dye partner.

"Ralph Lauren will be able to do something like put Color on Demand in one of their flagship stores in New York next year so that you can go in and get your Ralph Lauren polo dyed in the store," Fitterling said at an CNBC ESG Impact event, according to a CNBC report.
