RBM Technologies introduces solution for product-level merchandising execution

RBM Technologies, provider of in-store visual merchandising management solutions for retailers, has announced a new product offering to help retailers optimize store-level SKU execution, ensuring the right products are in the right place and on the right fixtures at the right time.

Successfully launched for one of the largest telecommunications retailers in the world, SKUter enables retailers to automate their merchandising plans with the unique specifications of each individual store, the company said in a release. Retailers can specify where a product should be placed within a store’s available fixtures and in relation to current or planned sales campaign presentations. It also gives store managers a quick and easy way to understand and to report execution and compliance back to headquarters.

“Retailers are using increasingly sophisticated technologies and strategies to optimize their product placement, yet are challenged to replicate these plans at their diverse store outlets,” said Randy Greene, chief executive officer at RBM. “SKUter uses store attribute data to determine the specific fixtures a SKU should be on, which makes localization efforts and compliance reporting easier and more cost effective.”
