RedPrairie Corp. has released its new Price Tag Generator solution available through a Web Interface to RedPrairie's Merchandise Management Point-of-Sale Plus module. The Price Tag Generator solution uses open inventory, not available for sale and outlet data and instantly generates professional price tags for furniture, consumer electronics and appliance retailers, Tyler Owen, general manager for merchandise management at RedPrairie, said in a company press release.
"The Price Tag Generator is an easy-to-implement way for big ticket retailers to lower their labor costs when it comes to producing price tags," he said. "It also enhances the customer experience by acting as a silent salesperson, providing the most up-to-date and accurate information for a customer before he or she interacts with a salesperson within the store."
Professional price tags can be easily generated through various filters, including by store, location, inter-store transfer, purchase order and price changes, and can also contain UPC barcodes or QR codes. The fully customizable price tags can be exported as PDF files for easy printing and saving, Owen said.
