Port Alice, Vancouver residents will soon be able to explore a small drive-thru retail complex at the corner of Marine Drive and Taylor Way, according to a Vancouver Island Free Daily report.

The development, initiated by real estate developers Sajid and Sima Shah, of Arizona, features a mix of self-storage units, boat and RV storage and five drive-thru small shops.

The Shahs are seeking tenants for the drive-thru shops and have several potential prospects lined up. One of the shops will include an ATM and vending machines, addressing a need in the community for accessible cash. Sajid Shah envisions a variety of businesses, including food vendors, a gift shop and other services.

The Shahs are offering affordable lease rates and a supportive partnership approach. "If they win, we win," Sajid Shah told the news outlet.

The couple's decision to invest in Port Alice was driven by their love for the small town's beauty and well-maintained infrastructure. They plan to continue their involvement in the community and eventually purchase property for a retirement home.
