Retail is all about delivery, fast and quick delivery

The top factor playing into the holiday season is the retailer's capability to deliver product fast and quick.

Same-day delivery is a key factor in where shoppers shop and reveals a high correlation with consumers'  purchase intent and brand loyalty, according to data from Dropoff.

A majority, 60 percent, of holiday shoppers are more likely to buy from retailers offering same-day delivery, and the figure even gets higher for those doing last minute shopping, according to a press release.

"The holiday shopping season is a pivotal time for retailers, with tremendous opportunity to earn consumers' loyalty," said Sean Spector, CEO of Dropoff, in the release. "It's evident that same-day delivery is an important factor for shoppers, especially this time of year."
