Seniors and those vulnerable to the coronavirus are getting their own shopping time at several retailers including Kohl's, J.C. Penney and T.J. Maxx.

The strategy is similar to what grocers have been doing since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in full force. The grocery stores established an hour or more, mostly at the start of the business day, for seniors and those needing a non-crowded shopping experience.

Some retailers, in re-opening after months of being closed, are not opening up to full hours, according to a USA Today report.

For example, according to USA Today, Kohl's is taking a measured approach tied to customer response and feedback.
