As of August 27% of consumers started holiday shopping and by the end of October the figure will reach 55%, according to holiday shopping data from Jungle Scout.
Over half of consumers, 56%, report rising costs have impact holiday spending plans and 12% of consumers don't plan to shop at all this holiday season, up from 8% last year, according to a press release on the data findings.
Consumer strategies on holiday spend include spending less per person on gifts and buying discounted product.
