Royal Caribbean International taps interactive Videotel digital signage

August 29, 2018

The Royal Caribbean International cruse lines recently deployed Videotels's Push Interactive Digital Signage Solution with the VP71XD media player. The company used the solution for its 60-minute "Escape the Rubicon" puzzle experience for customers, according to a press release.

The Push solution can auto loop and trigger up to six LED push buttons. Customers can use one or multiple video files along with various LED illuminated push buttons, according to the release.

The "Escape the Rubicon" experience challenges visitors to solve a variety of interactive puzzles in a virtual environment on "another world and time," according to the release. Royal Caribbean plans to activate the experience on the Symphony of the Seas cruise in November.

"When we got the chance to work with such a predominant market leader like Royal Caribbean International we were beyond thrilled to show the efficacy of our products. We believe in their ability to transform any venue where they're used. So happy to know this is yet again on point," Lisa Schneider, vice president of marketing and sales, Videotel, said in the release.
