Fashion retailer rue21 plans to deploy Kibo's e-commerce platform and several solutions in early 2019 to support a multitude of fulfillment strategies aimed at boosting customer experience, from pick-up in store to associate training.
The brand chose Kibo after evaluating several potential technology partners, according to a release, and has a dedicated Kibo project manager and a customer success advisor for planning and deployment.
"We selected Kibo because of the company's strength in offering an out-of-the-box solution which minimizes implementation time, as well as the company's collaborative approach for implementation and help in designing highly-effective process flows," said Steve Lyman, senior vice president of supply chain at rue21, in the release. "With Kibo, we look forward to offering our shoppers a true omni-inventory experience and improving their shopping journey at rue21."
With advanced order routing rules, Kibo Order Management makes it easy to fulfill orders from the location that best suits a retailer's business needs and delivers an optimal customer experience, according to the release.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with rue21 and provide them with a robust solution that further enhances the customer experience offering," said Michelle Fischer, chief customer officer for Kibo, in the release. "By expanding its fulfillment options, rue21 will continue to earn loyalty and recurring sales during peak shopping periods where speed and convenience are king."
