Scala adds media player to digital signage portfolio

Scala Inc., a subsidiary of Stratacache, has launched its Scala Media Player for digital signage. The player is an end-to-end solution built to help create, manage and deploy digital signage networks, according to a press release.

The Scala Media Player can operate 24.7 and it enables reliable playback of content.

"Scala Media Players are designed from the ground up to deliver optimal hardware and software integration and performance," Joe Sullivan, COO, Scala, said in the release. "Having access to STRATACACHE's knowledge of hardware and logistics facilities was key in allowing us to develop and deliver a media player that would meet the needs of our customers."
