Regional sporting goods retailer, Scheels, is using an Oracle point-of-service tool to enhance customer store experience.
The Oracle Retail Point-of-Sale v14 software is now running in the retailer's 26 stores located throughout 11 states, according to a press release. The POS tool is the result of a partnership with BTM Global, which integrated the system and developed a custom app for the retailer's deli operations. The system is improving inventory management and streamlining data processes for customer return activity.
"BTM Global understood the pain points and our expectations, and they delivered sound solutions that met our needs and got the most important functionality prioritized," said Byron Snider, information services leader of Scheels, in an announcement. "Every team we worked with demonstrated technical expertise and industry knowledge, and it was clear they were committed to our vision of a superior store experience."
