Shopatron Inc., a technology company that provides eCommerce solutions to branded manufacturers and retailers of consumer goods products, recently announced that it has received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
According to the BBB website, Shopatron’s rating is based on 16 factors, assigning grades on an A-to-F scale representing the “BBB’s degree of confidence that the business is operating in a trustworthy manner and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns filed with BBB.”
Some of the criteria the BBB considered for its rating included the length of time the business has been operating, complaint volume filed with BBB for a business of Shopatron’s size and response to and resolution of complaints filed against the business.
“For more than a year, Shopatron has been dedicated to significantly improving experiences for customers,” said Brad Rubin, Shopatron’s vice president of operations. “It is nice to be recognized by a group like the BBB in part because of this hard work.”
Shopatron works with almost 1,000 brands and 12,000 retail partners across 35 industries. Its clients include Suzuki, Kawasaki, Polaroid, Mizuno, Ducati, JL Audio, American Tire Distributors and Sport Chalet.Retailers on the Shopatron system make products ordered online available for pickup in-store. Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and REI are examples of large retailers that have been offering this option to shoppers for several years and have led the way in terms of consumer demand for in-store pickup
Earlier this year, San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based Shopatron unveiled Shopatron 3.0.
