Shutterstock if offering its first AR feature, a "view in room" capability, that lets users virtually position images on walls as part of the shopping experience.
The image provider built the iOS app in house, according to a Media Post report.
"This is yet another project developed from its initial iteration at our annual employee hackathon,” Jon Oringer, founder and CEO of Shutterstock, told the media outlet. “We decided to put this hack into production because of its potential to have an immediate customer impact."
