Spirit Airlines is gearing up to offer new business class seating that includes a blocked middle seat as well as a free carry-on, checked bag and priority boarding.
The premium seating option even includes a snack and non-alcohol drink, according to a New York Post report.
The news comes on the heels of Southwest Airlines revamping its seat and boarding process from open seating to assigned seating and several months ago competitor Frontier Airlines began offering a similar business seat flight option.
Spirit Airlines plans to begin offering the business seat option on August 27 with bookings available August 16.
