Stein Mart hires new president

MaryAnne Morin is the new president of Stein Mart and will oversee merchandising, marketing, planning, advertising and e-commerce in her new role.

Morin was formerly chief merchant and EVP at Lord & Taylor and Hudson's Bay, according to a Jacksonville Business Journal report. She also worked in Macy's merchandising group.

In addition, Stein Mart has officially named D. Hunt Hawkins as CEO. He had been serving in an interim role.
