Study: Large format display market to reach $14.93 billion

The large format display market is expected to reach $14.93 billion by 2023, according to a report by Research and Markets. The market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 6.7 percent from 2017-2023.

Current market drivers include increasing innovation in direct view LED displays, availability of bright HD LFDs, increasing number of digital signage applications and increasing demand for power-efficient displays.

The video wall segment of the market is expected to grow at a higher rate than single displays. LCD displays currently hold the most market share, but with LED technology will likely surpass it in 2023.

North America currently holds the largest market share, but the Asia Pacific market is expected to grow at the highest rate during the period, due to the presence of a large number of manufactures in the region.
