Study: Shopping is top use for tablets

Shopping is one of the most popular activities done on a tablet, according to a CouponCabin.com and Harris Interactive survey that found that 20 percent of U.S. adults own a tablet, and that nearly one-third of tablet owners reported that their favorite tablet activity was online shopping. About 35 percent of tablet owners have redeemed a coupon using their tablet, and 57 percent of tablet owners shop on their device while watching TV.

The study inspired CoubonCabin.com to launch a free all-in-one coupon app for the iPad that allows users to access coupons in every coupon category, including grocery, printable for in-store use, and online codes for hundreds of online retailers, according to a company press release.
