Target isn't about to let Amazon's Prime Day event go without some competition. It's planning to launch "Deal Days," a two-day sales event.
The effort, according to an Engadget report, will take place on the same days as Amazon's event, July 15 to July 16, and Target is making a big effort to let consumers know that everyone's welcome and that there is no membership aspect. Amazon's Prime Days are only available to Prime subscription members.
Last year Target held a one-day event in competition that accounted for one of its biggest online sales days, according to the report.
