Target to slash some toy prices by 50 percent for holidays

Target has announced that it has cut prices on some popular toy brands, including Barbie brand toys and Fisher Price, by as much as 50 percent as the holidy season approaches.The price cuts went into effect Oct. 1 and apply to online and in-store purchases.The move follows Walmart's announcement that it is offering a hundred different toys for $10 through Christmas.
