Tempur-Pedic International's first retail location is now open inside a 3,500–square-foot space in Natick Mall in Natick, Mass.
"Tempur-Pedic has always had a strong focus on establishing a dialog and engaging directly with the consumer," Patrice Varni, VP of direct-to-consumer sales and marketing for Tempur-Pedic North America, said in a company press release. "The opening of our first store is a logical next step."
The mattress store features "micro-bedroom" areas, where beds are grouped by collection, creating a sense of privacy and making it easy for consumers to browse, test and compare mattresses, according to the release. They can also test pillows at a pillow bar. A focal point of the store's design is an 11-foot-10-inch by 11-foot-6-inch wide wall, where customers can interact with the different materials and learn more about the brand and its products.
