Tesco taps Tomra reverse vending machines for Slovakia supermarkets

Tesco, the U.K.-based supermarket chain, has selected Tomra to supply its reverse beverage container vending machines in Slovakia when the country's deposit return system begins in January, according to a plasticspackaging.com report.

The machines will be installed in around 140 Tesco stores. Return points for PET bottles and cans will be required in supermarket with more than 300 square feet.
