Texas-based retailer priming for growth

Neighborhood Goods, a Texas department store concept featuring dozens of brands as well as a communal event area and restaurant/bar experience, plans to launch its second store in New York City.

The store concept is about big spaces that play home to pure e-commerce brands and brick-and-mortar brands.

It launched its first store, in Plano, in late 2018 and has raised $8.8 million, for a total financing pot of $14.5 million, according to a CNBC report.
