Tops Friendly Markets, a Northeast Grocery Inc. division, has announced an expansion into Western New York, and the launch of individualized customer communications for shoppers across all 148 locations through a partnership with Birdzi.
Tops customers will receive unique offers and discounts through personalized communication that leverages Tops' entire store catalog. It is powered by Birdzi's customer intelligence and engagement platform, which includes Birdzi's Visper solution.
The personalization and analytics platform is being used to enhance customer connections at all 148 Tops locations in New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
NGI's shared services group, Northeast Shared Services, selected Birdzi due to its breadth of capabilities and modern approach to customer intelligence and engagement, according to a press release.
Tops will be able to leverage its entire store catalog and customer insights to generate unique offers and discounts that will be delivered through personalized communications to the regional grocer's loyal shoppers.
