Toshiba delivers UHD displays to StubHub Center
Toshiba America Business Solutions recently delivered UDH scoreboards and ribbon displays to the StubHub Center, an arena in Los Angeles home to the Los Angeles Chargers and LA Galaxy. The company deployed a 53-feet wide by 20-feet long scoreboard and a 125-feet wide by 36-feet long LED scoreboard, according to a press release.
The scoreboards are built to provide live action play and replay in HD. Toshiba also deployed a variety of ribbon displays offering player statistics, team highlights, out-of-town scores and advertisements in up to 72 by 8,688 lines of UHD resolution.
"StubHub Center continues to be committed to enhancing our world-class fan experience in every aspect," Katie Pandolfo, general manager, StubHub Central, said in the release. "We are excited to work with an industry leader like Toshiba to showcase the new HD screen and ribbon boards inside StubHub Center. We have invested heavily to upgrade our stadium and this latest scoreboard and ribbon displays take our commitment to the in-game experience even further."
