Tuesday Morning enjoys substantial store growth, additions

Tuesday Morning, a high-end home goods retailer, is expanding its Dallas, Texas location in Preston Shopping Center and opening  new unit in Plano's Parker Central Shopping Center.

"As we evolve our store experience, we are putting the focus on our product and the great values we deliver to customers every day in an easy-to-shop and inviting atmosphere," Tuesday Morning CEO Steve Becker said in a release. "Our new store in Plano and expanded presence in Dallas' Preston Center are representative of this initiative. We are very pleased with the customer response to these stores and excited to showcase the 'new' Tuesday Morning in our hometown market."

The Plano unit is14,830 square feet and boasts the company's latest store design prototype, featuring new flooring and fixtures, improved lighting and a revamped store layout. It opened on July 8 and held its grand opening July 31.

The expanded Dallas location now is 10,075 square feet and also features the new store design. It opened on July 22.

According to the report, Tuesday Morning opened eight new units and expanded 34 locations this year, and the company plans to open an additional 35 locations by the end of 2016.
